Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454g.) tagliatelle pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can (28 oz. or 800g.) whole peeled tomatoes, chopped
  • 24 oz.(680g.) Italian sausage
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper

How to make Italian Sausage Pasta directions

    Cook pasta in lightly salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Cook sausage in butter in a skillet over medium heat for around 5 minutes. Add onion and garlic, cooking until the sausage is no longer pink. Before bringing the mixture to a boil, add oregano, salt, pepper, and tomatoes. Once boiling, reduce to a low heat and while stirring occasionally, continue cooking for 8 minutes.

    In a large bowl, combine the sausage with the cooked pasta and sprinkle parsley on top.
