- 3/4 cups bittersweet chocolate, grated
- 4 1/2 no-boil lasagna noodles, cut in half (9 halves)
- 1/4 cup roasted almonds, chopped
- 15 oz.(420g.) cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cocoa

Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bring a pot of water to boil and add the lasagna noodles. Cook the noodles for 2 minutes. Then, remove the noodles and let them dry on paper towels.

In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, egg, and cottage cheese with a whisk until it is blended. Add the orange zest and bittersweet chocolate and stir.

Cover the bottom of an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with 1/4 of the cheese mixture, followed by almonds, and a layer of the noodles. Repeat this process leaving out the layer of noodles. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Once the lasagna rises, remove the dish, and let it cool before serving.
